Is it TIME to move to a BIGGER FARM? 🏡

Is one acre big enough to do everything we want on our farm?
Each morning on our one acre farm in the city of Phoenix, Arizona, we start the day with milking goats, feeding pigs, and gathering eggs. We have a small plot of land, but boy, do we make the most of it. Each animal on our farm is taken care of holistically & organically. We let the mama goats raise their babies until they reach 10 weeks of age and are naturally weaned from nursing. We keep a small herd of 5-7 milking goats, mainly the Nigerian Dwarf breed, although we still have the queen of the herd, Luna, our Nubian goat. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, cream, and we use it in all sorts of baking & cooking. We love that we can walk into our backyard and gather food. It's the best feeling ever!
After the morning chores, we usually tend to the pond -- we're always adding new pond plants and fish to maintain the delicate ecosystem of our natural swimming pool. Our backyard farm is full of adventures, and we're so happy to share our farm vlog with you. Hopefully you can feel inspired to grow something of your own, or care for an animal with kindness like we strive to do. Thanks for watching!

  • Do you have a video about proper care videos of all your different types of videos? Also of how you prepare your goat milk, start up cost associated with something like this? How much revenue you make from breeding? Which breed of goat you prefer? Do you sell your goats to people as pets? Sorry I just have a lot of questions because your life is like my dream.

  • Now that the world is in in disorder because of the disease. I came to realize that the world would not be as if we all learn the way of sutainability the way you do like backyard planting, sustainable humane animal farming and water storage.. Almost everyone now is panic buying because majority dont know how to grow food and know only how to open packs and cans. It just reminded me that this is a goal for me.

  • You guys are so lucky to have the best of both worlds, with a "farm" and the city. I live in a small town in Canada, and it is illegal to own even 1 chicken, it is illegal to own over 3 dogs/cats. This is pretty much everywhere. I would love to have a few chickens, and a goat. There is even law's that we can't plant a garden in your front yard, or collect rain water. There is law's about everything here. We are so close to communism that it is scary. Don't let anyone take away your rights, or you will be like us.
